Treatments

Every appointment is personalized. We review your goals, health history and preferences, agree a plan, and adjust pressure, pace and focus as the session goes on.

One approach

The heart of the practice is Kobido, the traditional Japanese facial massage — most often booked as the 90-minute Restore & Rejuvenate with a deep tissue massage. Massage therapy and Kobido stay clearly separate where it matters: booking, wording and receipts.

Deep Tissue Massage

Focused pressure

Slower, more focused work using pressure adapted to your comfort and to the areas you want addressed. Deep tissue does not mean maximum pressure or working through pain — it means deliberate, communicative work at a depth that suits you.

  • Discuss goals and pressure preferences before we start
  • Focused attention on selected areas of tension
  • Pressure and pace adjusted throughout on your feedback

Relaxation Massage

Calming

A flowing, comfort-led session designed for unhurried rest and general muscular relaxation. A steady pace and broad, even coverage make space to slow down and reset.

  • Comfortable, agreed pressure
  • Steady rhythm and broad treatment focus
  • Quiet time with no agenda beyond rest

Goal-based

A goal-based appointment informed by your health history, current concerns and functional priorities. We develop a treatment plan together and revisit it as things change.

  • Health history and relevant assessment
  • A treatment plan developed with you
  • Home-care suggestions where appropriate

This is not a diagnosis and does not promise a specific recovery or cure. It is focused, individualized massage work toward goals you set together.

Kobido Facial Massage

Facial massage

The traditional Japanese facial massage — layered, rhythmic hand technique over face, jaw, neck and shoulders, at a pace meant to settle the nervous system as much as the muscles, with a light skincare sequence supporting the work. It is the service Tiki is built around, and it is booked and recorded separately from massage therapy.

  • Worked entirely by hand — not a product-led facial
  • Booked and recorded separately from massage therapy
  • Arrive without heavy makeup when practical

Insurance: Kobido facial massage is a wellness service. It is not represented as an insured massage-therapy treatment, and insurance reimbursement should not be assumed. There are no guaranteed lifting, anti-ageing or pain-relief outcomes.

Recent facial procedures, active skin conditions, infections or certain injuries may mean the service should be modified or postponed. Contact Tiki Massage before booking when unsure, and consult the appropriate healthcare professional when needed.

Restore & Rejuvenate

Deep tissue + Kobido

The appointment most people book at Tiki. Begin with a 60-minute deep tissue massage focused on muscular tension, followed by a 30-minute Kobido facial massage — one calm, unhurried block of time with the same therapist throughout.

  • Massage therapy portion first, then the Kobido facial portion
  • Extra time is reserved around the appointment for intake and transition, so hands-on time is not shortened
  • Your receipt lists the massage-therapy portion and the Kobido wellness portion separately

Insurance: only the qualifying massage-therapy portion is represented as massage therapy. The Kobido portion remains a separate wellness service. Confirm eligibility with your insurer before booking or submitting any receipt.
